Therapy session with feedback (45 minutes) – £75
Therapy session with feedback (30 minutes) – £50
Travel time – £10 per 15 minutes (if applicable)
How many sessions will my child need?
Every child is different. The number of sessions will depend on your child’s individual needs and goals. We'll talk this through before starting therapy and keep things under regular review as your child progresses.
Absolutely! With your consent, I’m happy to work closely with other people involved in your child’s care—such as teachers, SENCOs, occupational therapists, audiologists, and more. Teamwork makes a big difference.
Yes! Online (teletherapy) sessions are available if preferred, especially for follow-up appointments or families who live further away. We’ll work together to decide what suits your child best.
How do I know if my child needs speech and language therapy?
If you're concerned about your child's communication—whether it's speaking, understanding, listening, or interacting with others—it’s always worth having a chat. I’m happy to offer advice and, if needed, carry out an assessment to see whether therapy could help.
What happens in a typical therapy session?
Therapy sessions are fun, engaging, and tailored to your child’s needs. We’ll use play-based activities, games, and targeted tasks to work on specific goals. You'll always get feedback after each session, and I’ll share ways you can support your child between sessions too.
Yes, absolutely! Parents and carers are welcome to observe or take part in sessions. Watching can be a great way to see the techniques in action and help you feel confident supporting your child at home.
What if my child doesn’t want to join in?
That’s okay! Some children take a little time to feel comfortable in a new setting or with a new person. Sessions are always relaxed and child-led—we go at your child’s pace, using play, praise, and patience to gently build engagement over time.
What if I need to cancel a session?
Life happens! If you need to cancel, just let me know at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
